Vernon Forrest

The world is a crazy place. Vernon Forrest, a great boxer in his day, was killed in a car jacking in the ATL. He was putting some air in his tires when two guys tried to rob him. His girlfriend's son was in the car so he couldn't just let the car go. He gave chase and they shot him 7-8 times.

The world is a dangerous place. More and more it makes me want to move to the country and but some guns.

Chose to Win

Why do we chose mediocrity? Why do we not chose to win or try to win all the time. I find that most of the time I am my own barrier to success.

I've done well in life but I could be doing a lot better by staying out of my own way!

Most of the time I find a way to win in life. Most of the time I put myself in a position to win, that way I have a shot at the title. Unfortunately, there are times when I say I want to win but I don't do the things to put myself in a position to win.....why I ask?

I don't have an answer to that question, but I am going to find it and apply it to my life. I need to raise my winning percentage.

Steve McNair

First of all. I feel terrible for Steve McNair's wife and family. He did not deserve what he got and we may never know the whole story.



The truth of the matter is, this guy was an idiot! Who goes all in with a 19 going on 20 year old when you are 36, married, 4 kids and a millionaire? Did he not read the playa' handbook? Apparently not because he lost his life over it. I know this sounds insensitive but damn, how did he get into that situation?



OK you meet a 19 year old at Hooters or Dave and Busters or KFC or where ever she worked, and you decide she is the one? If you are going to cheat, cheat with someone who is old enough to drink and sensible enough not to cause trouble in your life.

Turns out she shot McNair while he was sleeping on the couch. How did he get mixed up with this piece of work? I'm sad and disgusted!

Quick Random Thoughts

Here's a few random thoughts:

First - Sarah Palin thinks that if she pays back the money that she used for clothes, and family vacations then that makes it OK. Actually, if you misuse taxpayer dollars then you are wrong. It doesn't matter that you pay it back later, you are flat out wrong. This lady disgusts me. Our political leaders should be highly intelligent and ethically strong. She is neither. She has shown in interviews that she is not highly intelligent, she cannot manage her own home and she has spent $$$$ from the GOP and the state of Alaska in an inappropriate manor.

Now Palin is resigning her Governorship? Is it possible that she is resigning so that she can focus running for President in 2012? I hope not!!!!! Can't she just go away or if not, get a reality show. That way we can watch you without giving you the keys to the country.

I don't understand why we the American people put up with such second rate people. We are turning into a country of classic underachievers. Actually, Sarah Palin is an overachiever because she is playing way over her head. The problem is that we the American people take whatever, or whomever is put in front of us and we believe whatever lies they tell us. Somewhere in the last 20 years we stopped seeking the truth even when it was right in front of us. We let the liars tell us that the duck in front of us is not a duck. We believe them when they tell us that the duck is actually a dog. We are stupid!

Second - The economy still sucks!

Third - Michael Jackson is gone. He seemed to be a troubled soul. I hope he is at peace now. Yes, he became a punchline at the end but he was truly an Icon and he will be missed.

Fourth - Do something this week to improve the world.
