History

Today, I made history by completing a mission for Barack Obama. I reached the polls at 6 a.m. There was already 30-40 people waiting in line. I waited patiently until it was time to complete my mission. When it was my time I stepped forward and cast my vote for Obama and Biden.

After completing my mission, I felt like I was part of something. That, is the magic of Barack Obama. He has made us all feel like we are part of something, something new and something different than what we have had before.

His election does not solve our problems and he still has to deliver on campaign promises but he has delivered on Hope already. These rough economic times, the war and the racial internal strife of our country desperately calls for Hope. Barack Obama, has supplied us with that Hope.

Now as I am watching the returns on TV, Obama has just reached 283 delegates.......its a wrap.....History has been made.

President Barack Obama!!! I could not be more proud to be an American/African American today. I am looking forward to the next four years.

A Black President?!?!?!?!

I can't explain how excited and proud I am to have a Black President Elect in a few days! What a moment in history.

How far have we come from having Jesse run just to represent our (African-American)interests to having a canidate in Barack Obama whom the American people respect enough to elect as the representative of all of our interests? This will be a wonderful moment in history and I am glad to be a part of it.

On the other hand future President Obama will be taking over a country that is in financial and economic turmoil. Hopefully, the worst will be over when he assumes power and he and his cabinet will be responsible for the rebuilding process.

He will definetly however have his hands full with the war that is also draining our economy.
