LIFE
Today, I watched two friends fall out with each other over some petty stuff. They are two very different people who just could not find a way to get along. I tried to look out for both of them in this situation and pull them together and it just would not work so they chose to go their own ways. One fired the other and then tried to take it back the next day......too late. Damage done and now the fired is out for the firee's ass.
REAL ESTATE
I'm sad and stressed. I got a real estate project wrapping up. I remodeled a house that is in a decent area yet the crackheads (can't think of a better name for those who steal shit, oh yea cluckers) keep trying to break in. 5 times in two months! They have cost me about $2000 so far on this project. That's just in damage. That does not count an additional $2500 in security precautions. Just when we thought we had the joint secure these fools climbed a tree jumped through the screen on the sundeck and tossed a brick through the window on the back door. They climbed the tree again but I put a steel security door there and they just left.
The is nothing to steal. We don't leave tools in the property and we attach everything when we bring it in the house. So the opportunity to smash and grab is not there. They would have to bring some tools and spend a long time at the house to detach anything. The neighbors are watching. They have called us to let us know what was going on.
I need to get this thing rented until I sell it. I feel like I can't even let the thing sit by itself for one night. I may have to hold this property for a while so now I've got to scramble and put someone in the house. How do I find a decent renter in a matter of days? I think I am going to try to move a renter from one of my other units into this one. It will be a sweet deal for who ever gets this spot. It will be like moving into a new house.
Anyway, I just have to make it happen by getting someone in there. Then I have to worry about getting my money out the deal. Meanwhile, I am going broke.
FOOTBALL
It is that time of year again.....Football season. I love this time of year because I coach. I am a member of the youth football board and am in charge of coordinating the coaches. I have never seen a bigger bunch of egos for little kid football. It is crazy.
