Sarah Palin is a Pimp
Now that the election is over, where is John McCain? I have not seen him anywhere, yet Sarah Palin is everywhere. She is campaigning in Georgia in a key race, she has book deals and she has book deals that she is mulling over.
What does john McCain have? Apparently nothing. Wouldn't it be logical that John McCain, the man who won the republican nomination for President of the United States be campaigning in Georgia in that key race that could change the balance of power in Washington, D.C.? Shouldn't the man who was tortured as a prisoner of war, a true American Hero, have the book and movie deals?
While I am not a fan of either person, I must say that Sarah Palin is a pimp and I admire her for it. She has walked on the political scene from a place where no one had heard of her and become the face of the Republican Party. She pimped john McCain!!!! He brought her in to put him over the top in the election. Instead, she blew the election for him (he would have lost anyway but by a lesser margin) and took all his power and notoriety and sent him off into the sunset. There is even talk of her running for President in the next election.
Personally, I think she is very under qualified to be President or any other high ranking official. No I am not a sexist, I am perfectly fine with other female politicians. I just think she lacks the mental fortitude and composure needed for such responsibility. the Katie Couric interview was a prime example. Any good politician, prepared or not, would have at least come across as competent in that situation. Not only did she come across as unprepared, she came across as bumbling and unintelligent.
Now, I do think she is qualified for our current climate of people being very successful and considered very talented for doing absolutely nothing. See, Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton and any number of reality show people for examples. As a matter of fact she may be over qualified. She has been a mayor, a governor and she is kind of attractive. Books, movies and pointless celebrity should be just fine for her.
