Tiger
So we now know that even though he went to Stanford, Tiger Woods is not the sharpest tool in the tool shed. On the other hand, it has been pretty clear for a while, to everyone but me, that Terrell Suggs is an idiot. I will get to Suggs in a later post, but first Tiger.
Someone forgot to tell Tiger that he is a Billionaire and should only mess with people who either have something to lose or he is just paying them for sex. This guy was messin' with the girl working the drive-thru at McDonald's, the girl who valet parks cars at the mall and the lady who is the night janitor at the local grade school. He did however, mix in a few porn stars according to reports I'm not sure it this goes on the dumb, smart or bucket list. As I have said before in other posts, pimpin' and pandering are required freshman classes at Oregon State, my alma mater, but apparently it is not at some of the other Pac-10 schools like Stanford. Now wherever Elin, his wife went to school there is some type of pimp class because either way she wins. She can leave and get $300-500 million or stay and have a billion. Even that amount of money is not worth the loss of your family.
Here is a question for you; Why do we care and why is Tiger losing money over it? At the end of the day Tiger makes ALL of his money.....ALL, not some, not most, ALL because he is a good golfer not because he is a good husband. Yes, he has projected an image but still his money comes from being the best golfer on the planet. I laugh as the companies he endorses pull away from him. They will be the first ones back in line when he comes back and starts dominating the course again. When they come back I hope he makes them pay dearly.
Here is another question; Why do we continue to buy into the images that these people project to us through the media? I mean really when are we going to make up and understand that the truth is the truth we seek and find for ourselves and not what someone tells us. And why are we slamming this guy? Anything that is remotely high profile in any community has groupies and unfortunately for Tiger he was weak, sloppy and got caught. He has and will pay dearly. That does not make him any less person than he was before but more light was able to illuminate the truth and the truth is this; Tiger like any other person, athlete, artist, business person or actor that has risen to the top of their respective fields. They are so extraordinarily focused on their field that they are unbalanced in other areas of their lives. I'm not making an excuse for him, I am just making a statement. People, everyone is messed up enjoy Kobe and Tiger because they are extraordinary at something not because you think they are better people in some way. They are only better at their endeavor.
